Operational Forces Medical Liaison (OFML)

 

Purpose

The Operational Forces Medical Liaison, locally known as the Fleet Liaison, coordinates medical support to the operational forces.
 

Mission

The primary mission of this facility is to provide quality healthcare for the men and women of the uniformed services. To accomplish this mission, the special needs of the operational forces must be met and maintained in as high a state of medical readiness as possible. These needs include appointment requests and notification via electronic messaging, medical information and status reports for crew members, and education and assistance for operational forces assigned to this facility for treatment.
 

Medical Assistance

The Operational Forces Medical Liaison, or Fleet Liaison, will serve as the single point-of-contact and interface between this facility and the Medical and Dental Department Representatives of the operational forces.
